Kanwar Yatra: From last night, light vehicle routes and traffic will change; know the full route plan

On July 26, at twelve o'clock midnight, the Ganganahar Track Kanwar Marg and Pipeline Marg would be closed to all vehicles, regardless of their type. However, light trucks are permitted to operate on the lane of Meerut Road (NH-34) that is heading in the direction of Meerut; however, this lane will also be closed beginning at twelve o'clock midnight on July 28.
Beginning on Friday evening, the plan to divert light vehicles from the highway would be put into effect during the Kanwar Yatra. On the Ganganahar Track Kanwar Marg and Pipeline Marg, there would be a complete breakdown of all vehicular traffic. From now until eight o'clock on August 5, this diversion will be in effect.
ACP Traffic Piyush Singh stated that the strategy for the diversion can be altered in accordance with the circumstances, taking into consideration the number of Kanwariyas now in place. Additionally, transportation trucks that are delivering vital products will be permitted to enter the restricted route after their permission has been verified.
Ghaziabad: This is where the road will split off
- There will be no vehicles of any kind permitted on the Ganga Canal Track Kanwar Marg, Pipeline Marg beginning at twelve o'clock midnight on the 26th of July.
- The lane of Meerut Road (NH-34) that is headed in the direction of Meerut is open to light vehicles, but beginning at twelve o'clock midnight on July 28, this lane will also be closed.
- Beginning at twelve o'clock midnight on 28th July, vehicles will not be able to exit the Eastern Peripheral Motorway at the Duhai cut for whatever reason. It is expected that these vehicles will stop at Dasna cut and then continue on via National Highway 9.
- The Seemapuri Border will be closed to vehicles travelling from Meerut Tiraha to Mohan Nagar, Seemapuri Border till midnight on the 28th of July. However, beginning at midnight on the 28th of July, this lane will also be restricted to vehicles travelling in the opposite direction.
- When travelling between Meerut Tiraha and Santosh Medical Jal Nigam T-Point, vehicles will not be allowed to operate.
- On 28 July, at twelve o'clock midnight, the Delhi-Meerut Motorway will be closed to travel by vehicles.
- It will be impossible for vehicles to travel in the direction of the Dudheshwar Nath Temple from the following locations: Railway Station Road, Kirana Mandi, Ramteeram Road, Ghantaghar, Bajaria Road, and Delhi Gate.
- Between Seemapuri Border and Lal Kuan, as well as on Meerut Road, there will be no operations of automobiles.
- Starting from Meerut Tiraha, vehicles will not be able to travel in the direction of the Hindon River, Kanawani, or Indirapuram region. From the former bus stand, these vehicles will go along National Highway 9 (NH-9) until they reach the Chaudhary bend and the Vijay Nagar railway bridge.
