Senior advocate N Hariharan has been elected for the post of President of the Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) while Advocate Vikram Singh Panwar has been elected its Secretary.
Till Sunday evening, a total of 7674 votes were counted. Counting for other posts will be continued on Monday also.
Senior Advocate N Hariharan has been elected as the President of the Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) following the elections held on March 21, 2025. Hariharan secured 2,967 votes, winning by a narrow margin of 87 votes over Senior Advocate Kirti Uppal, who received 2,880 votes.
With over 38 years of legal practice, Hariharan is an alumnus of the Campus Law Centre at Delhi University and was designated as a Senior Advocate in 2013.
Other elected members of the DHCBA include Senior Advocate Sacchin Puri as Vice President, who garnered 4,515 votes. Advocate Vikram Singh Panwar has been elected as Secretary with 4,389 votes.
The elections witnessed robust participation, with 7,674 members casting their votes. The counting process commenced on March 22 and concluded on March 23, 2025.
The DHCBA elections are pivotal in shaping the leadership that represents the interests of legal professionals practicing in the Delhi High Court, influencing the administration of justice and the legal profession in the region.
