Employee Arrested for Filming in Bengaluru Coffee Shop Washroom

A 23-year-old worker was arrested at a famous coffee shop in Bengaluru after a customer found a hidden cell phone recording in the bathroom. This was a very disturbing event. The event happened at the Third Wave Coffee location on BEL Road, which is a popular spot known for its cosy atmosphere and good coffee.
Someone on Instagram with the handle "gangsofcinepur" was the first to report the scary find. In a series of Instagram stories, the user talked about the scary discovery: a phone hidden in the bathroom trash can with the camera facing the toilet seat. The phone had been recording for about two hours and was in "flight mode" so it wouldn't make any noise. Only the camera lens could be seen through a hole cut in the trash bag, which was used to hide the device.
The Instagram post says that it didn't take long for the other customers to figure out that the phone belonged to a staffer. The post called what was happening "horrific," which led to quick action. The cops were called to the scene and got there quickly to look into what happened.
The suspect, who was named Manoj and had worked at Third Wave Coffee for a while, was caught. Investigators confirmed that Manoj's phone had been taking videos the whole time it was hidden after they took it. The police are now looking into whether this was a one-time thing or if Manoj had recorded similar video before.
After the upsetting event, Third Wave Coffee put out a statement saying they were very sorry. The coffee shop made it clear that they would not tolerate this kind of behaviour and said that they would take action right away to deal with it. "We're sorry about what happened at our Bengaluru BEL Road location, and we want to make it clear that this kind of behaviour is not acceptable at Third Wave Coffee," the statement said. "We took quick action to deal with the problem by firing the person right away and making sure our customers were safe."
The business told customers that they are taking more steps to stop this from happening again and are fully cooperating with the probe that is still going on. The event has, as expected, shook up the neighbourhood and made people worry about their safety and privacy in public places.
People are talking more about what businesses need to do to protect their customers' privacy because of this case. As the investigation goes on, it's a stark warning that all public places need to be very careful and have strong security measures in place.
