According to the police, a manager from a diamond firm in Gujarat who was 41 years old passed away on November 2 in a hotel in Mumbai. The death occurred when the manager was reportedly sexually assaulting a girl who worked in the same industry and was 14 years old.

It has been reported by the police that the manager had been providing financial assistance to the girl's family, which consisted of the girl's mother, her father who was paralysed, and her brother who was unemployed.

Before taking the girl to Mumbai, where he sexually abused her, the man allegedly blackmailed the girl by threatening to withdraw his financial support. The police added that the man would then transport the girl to Mumbai.

According to a statement made by an officer, "The girl's family had positive relations with him because he frequently went to her house to check on her father, who was bedridden." He went so far as to provide financial assistance to them," she continued, adding that the girl had begun working at the factory as a result of her mother's pressure. Further explanation was provided by the officer, who stated that the family had faith in him and would permit her to accompany him and his family on outings.

When the man paid a visit to the girl's home on October 29, he informed the family that he was going to be travelling to Mumbai with his family and enquired about the possibility of taking their daughter along with him. After that, about 9:30 in the morning on Saturday, he picked her up, and the two of them set out for Mumbai. During the process of checking into a hotel room, the accused allegedly showed a bogus Aadhaar card and made a false claim that the 14-year-old was his daughter.

The accused allegedly took a sexual enhancement supplement in the hotel room on Saturday evening, and then collapsed while sexually assaulting the girl. This information was provided by the police. It was then that the minor called the staff at the hotel, which resulted in the police being notified. According to the police, the man was then taken to JJ Hospital in an ambulance. During the course of therapy, he was pronounced dead, and the authorities got in touch with the girl's relatives. Following the recording of her statement, a case was filed in accordance with the pertinent sections of the BNS and POCSO Act. Her mother arrived on Sunday.
